It's always tough when your pets pass. Thank you for the virtual hugs, it means a lot! He lived a long life and we're happy we gave him a good one. We got his ashes the other day, still deciding on which picture we're going to put in the urn and where we're going to place his ashes so our kitten doesn't knock them over. :V

We have urns of our dog & cat with their pictures too. I have it in my bedroom & I say Good Night to them every night like I did when they were still alive. It took me a bit to look at them though shortly after they passed without breaking out into tears.

I love garlic bread but since we can't do wheat, I haven't had it in a long time. We did make our own with gluten free mixes that was quite good. Only issue was, it didn't make for a good leftover. Texture changed.

I have used the same username & avatar in the 4 years I’ve been back on forums. People recognize & get to know a person more easily when they can see the same thing. For a signature, I usually just have my HOST link or a Benjamin Franklin quote.

I'm thinking about popping back in for a short period. Just enough to thank the people for the birthday wishes and sending out links to my websites and Discord again lol. It's been great taking a break from Facebook though for sure! It's been about a month now. (Well a month tomorrow but meh lol.) I know one of my coworkers wants me to get back on Facebook since he likes my posts.

Well encourage your coworker to join your forum :) Then start posting here what you post there. Win win lol

Progrumz Aww! We have 3 cats. Have you always had cats?

Ravenfreak I feel for the loss of your cat! When our dog passed away in 2012, I had salt burns around my eyes for months. Furbabies are family to us. Are you going to get a new cat? When we weren't ready for a dog but wanted that dog "fix", we volunteered at shelters or just looked around. :)

We eat them plain, with a bit of salt. I haven't had them in ice cream or coffee. But then, I don't eat those 2 things lol

Added on question: Do people prefer them shelled or unshelled? Unshelled can be easier but I find they taste stale faster so we get the shelled kind.

We get the gluten free one as wheat is iffy for us. But my husband makes a chunky tomato soup slash spaghetti sauce which makes it’s own meal even without the pasta.

Added on question: How do you eat spaghetti? Cut it up or twirl on fork?

I cut it up into small chunks. Nothing like getting it finally on the tines & then having to slurp it up with tomato sauce being flung everywhere. But then, that’s the way some people feel it should be eaten. Messy :D

    Happy May Day :)

Ravenfreak I hope you are feeling better. What is going on with your wife, if you don't mind me asking? :) Sometimes stress, health problems, heck, just life, can bring us down & make it hard to function.

    Naiwen Good Morning!

Progrumz Do you also have pets along with your 3 children? :)

I like caramel although I haven’t had it in such a long time. Just too sweet nowadays.

Here’s a question: How do you like to pronounce it? Two or Three syllables? I pronounce it with 2 syllables like car mull.
