Nobody can truly understand the situation between Kosovo and Serbia better than I do considering I am from Serbia and know history better than BBC could ever do or any other for that matter. Conflict for Kosovo territory was active for decades but thanks to west and NATO pressure they managed to get that territory on paper.
There was a war for 4 years raging with Albanian terrorists, their military right inside Kosovo in 90' . In 1999 they wanted to push from Albania to Kosovo and help their terrorists to take Kosovo for good but Serbian military managed to block them and within 2 weeks we liberated Kosovo completely. There was no single albanian left in it. When NATO saw we won the war, they decided to bombard Serbia and put sanctions on us until we accept to stop further military intervention. After 3 months of bombardment ,we agreed to stop.
They sent NATO troops there and promised Albanians will no longer come. After documents were signed, in less than a week they came back and started slaughtering Serbs on mass scale so they had to run to Serbia. Nobody did anything since that was the plan. Now those rats claim Kosovo belongs to them while it was given to them by west. Now, slowly they managed to get Kosovo state thanks to political bullshit and kept pushing out serbs and kept provoking us to cause more conflicts.
Albanians are nothing more but dogs of west who beg for protection because they are military unable to defend themselves when making trouble. Worst kind of people. It's like they are born and learned to hate us.

I definitely wouldn't be as knowledgeable as you about this conflict either, as it isn't a conflict which is taught much, if at all. It is briefly mentioned when we covered humane wars and the responsibility to protect, since it was one of the earlier conflicts to be waged with the language of human rights being used as justification. Some even going so far as to use the Rwandan genocide as part of the narrative, while totally ignoring the Western role in creating it. But the little I have read seems to line up with what you have said. Out of my own interest I read a book by Noam Chomsky which covered the conflict. In general a lot of Western news sources can be incredibly problematic when it comes to covering international politics, as their bias can be quite blaring.

Media is the most powerful weapon in the world. Only 7 people control all world media. They fabricate reality for people but only those who experience it know better than rest of the world.
Think of Trump saying how they knew Iraq has no dangerous weapons and they invaded them anyway. It just proves how news lie what government wants while innocent people are dying there. In the same way when they proclaimed we are commiting genocide (serbia) in bosnia, they faked an explosion with children and sent all over the media saying how we are terrorists. It was insane. World believe too much to media. I trust them nothing.

I promise I do read books that aren't written by Noam Chomsky, but your points on the narrow group that controls the mainstream media is argued quite eloquently in his book he co-wrote with Ed Herman, Manufacturing Consent. The way that so much of the world media has been almost reduced to mouth pieces in favour of the capitalist world system is almost as shocking as how many people complacently accept it. During the time of the Kosovo Serbian conflict it was much worse, as media coverage oftentimes were outright propagandists for the imperial war machine. I recall some of the more "critical" commentaries on this conflict were that the West weren't more aggressively and actively present throughout the entirety of the conflict.

The media twists everything to fit their agenda. Doesn't matter where you get your news from here in the United States, most of them are completely biased. They say things to get clicks on their articles, it used to be to get views.

It is not about views, but about making their hidden agenda work. I've seen some documentary about COVID and what frauds they did and what came out afterwards to confirm those "conspiracy theories". One part of that documentary discusses how all media track back source to 7 most powerful people who control it all. Documentary is like 2h long and prominent scientists and journalists are part of it but they are labeled as "conspiracy theorists" so 90% of world population will not believe them. In fact, majority doesn't even know they fought to share with world COVID is a mass scale fraud with much more sinister agenda.

What do you say about the New York Times?
I guess it would be good to read opinion pieces. Time is the barrier. Much easier to quickly ingest news feeds than digest tons of opinion pieces.

Yeah I feel that they are biased. Honestly it's hard to come by legit sources these days, how would you rate the BBC though? I say it's better than the Daily Fail (Daily Mail lol)

I follow the BBC, and IDK - I suppose those in Russia who believe all the false propaganda may claim it has a Western bias
Can’t win with anyone really XD
Also the BBC have had challenges with impartiality, but the good news is that that is taken seriously and immediately investigated, hence my faith in the BBC.
What news source do you follow Ravenfreak ?
How can you put faith in such fake news such as BBC? Only worthy watching show there is with Morgan, other than that, nothing. They tried to frame Andrew Tate by making their narrative and failed miserably. They show images of wounded grandma from Russian bombing in Ukraine while in reality, that picture was used from 2016 where there was gas leaking explosion. It is all fabrication. Nothing will ever change.
Sadly, the Ukraine war and anti-Russian stance has affected the news reporting on other topics in that area, like this. Not that it was perfect beforehand, but now it is just worse. It just feels like the world we live in can no longer separate issues and must take a stance. Like I fully support Ukraine and the stance against Russia, but that does not mean we need to summarize the other issues in the area in a West vs Russia stance, like the current Kosovo conflict that is completely separate nations.
I saw an amazing video yesterday on how people can forget there is a war in Ukraine. He said: "Imagine Ukraine is any country in the middle east or Africa and imagine Russia is USA, then you will not think of it at all" which proves a good point. Nobody gives a F when USA wages war. Not a single media pointed finger at them as they invaded so many countries and murdered so many civilians to extract oil, to overthrow good leaders.
I also recall Trump saying that Bill Clinton administration knew there were no weapons of mass destruction and they invaded those countries. Now put finger on your head and start thinking why is russia under such social media pressure while USA is completely safe even after being exposed over and over. Disgusting country.

I feel like I remember a lot of media condemning the US invasion, even in the US. And a lot of reports seem to suggest that Russia even armed the Taliban to fight against the US and supported them along the way, which is pretty bad as they were always enemies themselves. Wagner even directly engaged US troops in the Middle East and Russia was found to be paying bounties for dead US troops. The only difference really seems to be the much larger western powers are much more publicly vocal and capable about arming Ukraine and the Ukrainian war is much larger in scale.
The west (mostly the US) just has a massive advantage due to owning most of the companies that are international juggernauts and also most of the social media worldwide. The actions both nations take is basically the same as they both just pursue their own agendas without regard for others, granted this seems to just be a thing for every nation powerful enough to defend itself.

You can't compare arming somebody and sending bounty hunters with an actual military invading another country as USA did for many times.

What? Russia invaded Georgia (Twice), Ukraine (twice), Chechnya, Transnistria, Syria, and even the same Afghanistan that you are using to point out the US invasions. Not including their smaller scale operations like the current wars in Mali and Africa where they have troops deployed and the state sponsored Wagner group's actions. I believe they invaded more nations in the 21st century than the US did and created more casualties along the way. Not to mention they also invaded to simply annex land and assets from other nations.
I'm not defending the US invasions, but you are comparing Apples to Apples and trying to deem one as an entirely different fruit.

I typically get my news from The Associate Press. They seem to be pretty unbiased in terms of reporting news. I used to follow CNN but they're just about as bad as Fox News IMO.
