It's based on a book by the same name. The author is Adam Cesare. I've read the book and enjoyed it. Plus, the author has written two more books after it (two more sequels) which I haven't read yet. If you want, you could read the book before watching the movie. I think the movie doesn't come out till May 9th, if I remember correctly.

Even if you don't want to buy it, you could probably check it out from the library (just in case you end up not liking it for whatever reason).
Saw this movie. It was a good little B-movie. Not sure I would say it is worth spending the full price of a movie on it, but you would probably enjoy it if you're looking for something fun to watch.
I still need to give this film a watch lol. It is spooky season after all and I'm sure it's on some streaming platform.
