Man today really was a day. I usually go into work with a positive attitude, even the days I have to run the Eagle. I thankfully didn't have too many trays to run, 20 to be exact and 8 of them were ready to be loaded onto the machine to extract. I was running it and it went well, until I needed to switch the ink cartridge. First there was a error I never seen so I grabbed the guy who usually runs the machine and he helped me fix that problem but when he went to switch out the ink cartridge, the spring popped out of the cartridge slot. I thankfully was almost done with that account, but it was still annoying having to pack up everything and move to the other machine. I went to try and run it, but there was a piece of a envelope preventing it from running so I had to grab him again. He cleaned it out for me and it worked flawlessly after that. Then once I got done with the Eagle work, I went out to run a Falcon which it does the same thing that the Eagle does just not as fast and you get to sit down which is nice. The machine kept giving me a error, so I told the managers about it and I moved to the machine behind it. Then that one was acting up, it would work here and there so I dealt with it until after my last break. So I had to tell the managers yet again that another machine messed up. So I packed up and moved to another machine. The maintenance lady came in and fixed the spring on the Eagle ink cartridge slot, then she took a look at the first Falcon that gave me issues and it turns out there was a piece of paper stuck on the sensor.
She shown me and used the air compressor to clean it out. Then the other machine was loose and misaligned, so she needed to repair that. I couldn't get the small tray of work done because of all the issues I was having. Thank god it's my weekend now.
