What if Donald Trump truly was assassinated?

I figure this belongs in the Current Events section. Sure it's a hypothetical thread and isn't exactly what happened. I just wonder how different the political world would have been if the assassin actually hit his target. Look I'm not a fan of Trump, but I don't wish death upon him. But who would have ran for President if Trump was killed? He didn't have his VP picked at the time, so it really makes you wonder right? Man it's crazy to think just how a fraction of a second could have changed everything.

Agreed, things surely would have been different too. I don't wish death upon anyone, because like you said he's got a family. He's got people who would miss him for sure.

This man has "dodged" a few more attempts since this one. I don't wish death upon anyone, but I am beginning to think these were staged. I've never seen any other president go through this many attempts so quickly. The security around him should be top notch since he's the president, how did these deranged shooters get through security?
